John P. Ciccone is Founder and Principal of the Capital Navigation Group (CNG). At Capital Navigation Group we work exclusively with high-net worth business owners, individuals, and families, providing them world class financial management in accordance with their overall financial plan. The CNG Team prides itself on providing their clients with the utmost personal attention while piloting them through the entire financial advisory process. John is also an Investment Adviser Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network.
Prior to founding the Capital Navigation Group, John spent 18 years as a comprehensive financial advisor providing estate, business succession and investment planning with Capital Analysts of New England and Manufacturers Financial. John's broad based training and experience enabled him to build and develop the Capital Navigation Plan™.
John's expertise in financial management has been exhibited in numerous publications including, Physician's Money Digest, Bear & Bull, The Patriot Ledger, Banker & Tradesman. He has appeared on 1030 AM in Boston and lectured throughout New England where he is recognized for his expertise in financial planning and financial management.
John received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston , Massachusetts , his Chartered Financial Consultant degree from the American College in Bryn Mawr , Pennsylvania and was designated as a Certified Fund Specialist by The Institute Of Business and Finance in La Jolla California . John also received a Behavioral Finances and Investment Decisions certificate from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University .
John is member of the Society Of Financial Service Professionals, the Financial Planning Association, the Boston Estate Planning Council, The Family Firm Institute, The Chief Executive Club Of Boston and is a sponsor to the Nativity Prep School in Roxbury Massachusetts . John lives on the Boston Harbor with his wife, Gloria. In his leisure time he enjoys sailing, reading, tai chi and exercising. John came to Boston for college after growing up in West Hartford Connecticut , where he was born and raised.
Sarah J. Sherman

Prior to joining CNG, Sarah worked in Savannah, Georgia where she was a Production Analyst at Universal Food and Beverage Company.
Sarah graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in English. While at St. Edward's, Sarah was a member of the Honors Program and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Sarah also was a recipient of the Outstanding English Literature Student award.
Sarah's role at CNG as the Investment Planning Assistant involves the implementation of CNG's Manage and Monitoring Investment Process. Her main responsibilities include assisting with portfolio construction and review based on client risk/reward profile and personal objectives. She also acts as a liaison between CNG, Commonwealth Financial Network's independent research department, as well as with outside investment firms to maximize CNG's resources and capabilities.
Sarah was recently married, and lives with her husband Josh in Cambridge.
